why baseball?

Baseball is one of the oldest established sports in Newfoundland and Labrador. With over 20 Provincial tournaments each year with offerings for all ages, genders and abilities, baseball is an inclusive and exciting sport!

2024 Divisions and Birth Years are provided so players can accruately register for each division.

Challenger Baseball is an adaptive baseball program designed to empower children and youth living with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Details about registration and programs can be found on their Facebook page

Local associations as members of BNL offer programs from ages 5U to 21U. There women and girls. We also offer the Women of Baseball NL group for development and inclusivity.

Coach training takes place throughout the spring and summer! Take the first step by registering at NCCP.baseball.ca

what does baseball mean to you?

My Pop Humber and Uncle Frank Humber have always been a reason why I’ve loved the game. I’ve always had it in my blood and I continue to appreciate the game more and more every year. Its a great way to spend the summer and you’ll always have memories with your friends

Baseball has given me the opportunity to travel to many places including all Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Chicago, Indiana and Kentucky. It’s hard to pick one but a highlight would be playing where my favourite baseball movie (A League of their own) was filmed. I’ve had the opportunity to represent Team NL since I’ve been 12 years old and loved every minute!
